Long Sault Logistics Village is a 680-acre master planned transmodal logistics village to be anchored with a 50- to 100-acre rail yard. It’s bordered to the north by Highway 401, the busiest goods movement corridor for transport trucks in Canada, and to the south by a CN main cargo line, the busiest cargo rail corridor in North America.
Avenue 31 has entered into a joint venture with leading rail services company Canadian Rail Equipment Works and Services Inc. (CREWS) to develop the Long Sault Logistics Village project. The joint venture will seek out large sites in Eastern Canada along main trunk cargo lines to develop a network of multi-modal logistics yards with significant building and rail infrastructure. Land near ports will also be targeted.
